In the inaugural #MoVET short-term mobility program in Greece, hosted by AKMI International, 15 students from various study programs at Kolegji Profesional i Tiranës embarked on a remarkable journey from September 24 to October 7, 2023. The primary objective of the study visit was to explore and discover mobility activities aimed at enhancing the expertise of VET staff and learners, as well as showcasing career opportunities for young VET students.

Throughout this enriching experience, the students enjoyed a busy agenda, including visits to different companies, professional educational institutions, and exhibitions aligned with their field of study. Notably, they explored AKMI International’s offices and state-of-the-art technical labs, fostering skills learning and practice.

Special exhibitions, such as "The Butterfly Effect" and "World of Robots," captured the interest of the VET students, providing unique perspectives on chaos theory and technological advancements. Further, the students were welcomed by institutions like the Maritime Academy in Piraeus, Metropolitan College, and the Golden Age Hotel. These visits, accompanied by KPT and AKMI International staff, offered insights into the daily operations and tasks of these organizations.

During their free time, the students immersed themselves in exploring Athens, the historic heart of Ancient Greece. They visited iconic landmarks such as the Acropolis Museum, the Acropolis itself, Mount Lycabettus with its spectacular city view, as well as the nearby beaches and the Attica Zoological Park.
