The warm welcome at Campus Aalst was followed from an engaging and well-organized interactive agenda with special focus on matter of crucial interest such as entrepreneurship, renewable energy, ICT etc.

Students were acknowledged with EntrNET Project: Entrepreneurial networks in Europe, which among other objectives aims to improve the capacity to provide to all young adults high quality entrepreneurial education, while Entrepreneurship Day organized on Campus Brussels, engaged students in Business Idea Development and Pitching Workshop.

Visits to the well-equipped labs of Electromechanical Systems and Renewable Energy Systems, Energy Technology and IC, were an amazing experience to enjoy for the students. Not to be missed the good chance to talk and to compare curricula as well, especially in the context of technology dynamics in the panel discussion on curricula of electromechanical systems and renewable energy systems.

SiTCA – Simulation and Training Center for Health Care (on campus Aalst) was a new experience to learn from.

Considering technology as a means to an end, students participated in the Programming Workshop and later attended the Interactive lecture on Lean Management – on how to manage an organization that supports the concept of continuous improvement.

Interaction with students of Sales Support in the Cultural and Language workshop showed the added value of intercultural exchange and communication between students as a culture that needs to be promoted.

As future entrepreneurs and employees in the fast-paced labor market, students actively participated in the System Thinking for Sustainable Development Goals Workshop- an urgent call for action by all countries in a global partnership.

During their free time, the students enjoyed the noble beaty of Aalst, Ghent and Brussels.
