First Steering Committee | 13th-14th October 2021 | Trieste (Italy)

Articolo

Finally, after 10 months of online activities, the MOVET partners had the opportunity to meet each other in person for the first Steering Committee of the Project, hosted on 13th and 14th October 2021 by the coordinator ENAIP NET in its premises in Trieste.
Present at roll call were: ENAIP NET (Lead partner), EVTA, AKMI, ODISEE, SAN VIATOR, WISAMAR (connected online), APPK, AVETAE, KPT, ZOPT, School of PLJEVLJA, while unfortunately, EAM were prevented to take part to the meeting.
Trieste represented an important milestone for the project: the chance to finally meet in person boosted the MoVET team and provided new impetus to the project.
Seeing each other in person made the work easier, as well as more enjoyable, and the activity sessions were therefore particularly productive.

First of all, the committee allowed the partners to share an updated state of the art of the different work packages, namely WP1 Capacity building for internationalisation and upskilling, WP3 Mobility Activities WP4 Evaluation and Quality assessment, WP5 Communication and dissemination and WP6 Project Management).

The partners had the opportunity to discuss and exchange information about the current challenges and agreed on the planning of the next activities, updating the project timeline.

Among the activities to be implemented during the next months, the project envisages 5 webinars for managers/staff and 5 webinars for trainers, 4 JST to be organized between April and September 2022 in Germany, Spain, Belgium, Greece (plus one already scheduled for November in Dolo Italy) as well as 3 workshops (one in each WB country: Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro), for which all EU partners will travel to each WB for 3 days.

A key step of the meeting was to emphasise the importance of ensuring a broad and comprehensive involvement of their respective organisations: the success of the project and the achievement of its objectives depend on the involvement and active commitment of all the organisations' staff.

Therefore, European partners are committed to identifying internal practices and experiences that they can make available and share.

The WB partners, on the other hand, are in the process of identifying the key roles that will be involved in the internationalisation process, from those who will design the internationalisation plan to those who will participate in training activities for staff and those who will coordinate student mobility.

At the conclusion of the last day, the partners said their goodbyes, hoping to meet again in person next November in Dolo for the 1st JST of the Project.

The Italian edition of Joint Staff Training would be an opportunity to meet and work in person again and to further proceed with the identification of shared needs and common opportunities related to the Project. Covid-19 emergency permitting, at the JST the Balkan countries will be present "live" while the EU partners will connect remotely to part o f the working sessions.

It's time to fly home, but confident of coming back soon to Italy!
